Ghost Horse: Alec by AccaliaRoseAlec's Jousting Colors by AccaliaRose
RRS-RareRollingShows is selling their Ghost Horse! Alexander the Great is now for sale!

Breed: Pura Raza Hispano-Árabe
Color: Palomino Rabicano
Genotype: ee/Aa/nC/nRb
Discipline(s): Bloodless Bullfighting, Working Equestrian, Tent Pegging, Jousting
Fantasy Crosses: Thumbs Up Allowed

Former Ghost Horses who come back to participate in one of our shows get a small judging bonus! Every entry rolls a random performance number from 1-5 in their score. Since these horses have had so much experience at RRS shows, they roll a number from 3-7!

Enter the horse in one of our shows and you can count any placements towards their points!
  • Show Placements:
Alec has a true show entry. This gains him both an entry and (to come) a placement!
  • Show entry: To Strike a Blow by AccaliaRose
  • Placement: Class 33: 1st Place Winner
Important Info:
  • You may change his name - but you must include (Formally: Alexander the Great) in his information
  • The horse was created by AccaliaRose and the new reference should credit this.
  • Number of Foals: No limit
  • Fantasy/Realistic Crosses: No restrictions
  • Most information on the reference sheet may be changed. *any changes you wish to make should be included in bid*
    • Temperament: is a blank slate, go crazy.
    • History: is open with two exceptions:
      1. This horse is not owned by Rose Ridge Stable, but a NPC owner. You are free to create any details/characters/stables to encompass this in your narrative as long as the next condition is followed.
      2. :star:At no point in time was this horse abused by Rose Ridge StableRRS-RareRollingShows staff or the current NPC owner. :star:
  • Feel free to re-train him for whichever discipline you wish.
  • Don't want the horse anymore? Sell for points/art, gift him away, write a super sad story about an accident... proceed how you wish.
    • Please do let us know of any ownership changes/deaths/deletions. We like to keep an eye out for future art of our ghost horses.
    • If you plan to delete all your artwork - including the adoption picture: we will contact you to make sure the horse has not been sold, and if not may re-home the horse (as it came to you) if you have no interest in doing so yourself.
    • I would strongly suggest that if he has offspring at some point, please do not simply delete him. Moving the artwork to scraps or stash instead, and letting the owners of the foals know where to find his information, is a super-nice thing to do for them Heart
  • You (your stable) may NOT abuse/neglect Alec in any way:
    •  I DO NOT consider not drawing the horse 'often enough' neglect. If you've purchased Alec you can leave him as a pasture ornament for the rest of his life - I'll assume your staff is feeding and caring for him :p (Lick)
    • Writing or drawing about Alec being neglected/abused by your staff IS considered abuse.
    • If your story-line includes Alec being lost, stolen, or dying in an accident, that is fine. Don't have YOUR stable abuse him.

For more information see here:  Former Ghost Horses*Ghost Horses are not owned by Rose Ridge Stable, although they are created by AccaliaRose. They have independent NPC "owners"*
:star: After our ghost horses have been used in ten shows, they will be available for adoption to DA stables. :star:
Former Ghost Horses in Future Shows:

Ghost Horses come with 10 'shows' under their belt, what good are those? Most shows will not accept these towards experience points, however, there is some benefit:
Enter the horse in one of our shows and you can count any placements towards their points! They're listed below.
Each horse will be entered in an outside show in a real entry, this will count as a former show and give your new horse some experience!
Former Ghost Horses who come back to participate in one of our shows get a small judging bonus! Every entry rolls a random performance number from 1-5 in their score. Since these horses have had so much experience at RRS shows, they roll a number from 3-7!

How to Bid:

  1. Draw a picture of the horse at your stable or being check out by your staff. Full body please, may or may not be a reference.
  2. Fill out your horse's information.
  3. Write (at least a short paragraph) about your new horse. Areas to write about might include: How did your stable hear about him? What caused his owner to sell? How's he getting along with the rest of your horses?
  4. Post a link/thumb of the adoption here.
  5. There will be a due date, in order to ensure fairness for people not currently online. When there is only one bid: In MOST* cases, first come - first served rules apply.
    • *When first-come first-served rules apply, I retain the right to deny sale for any reason including: failure to follow sale rules, sloppy or unfinished art bids, failure to bid with original art, art theft of any kind, etc.
  6. After you're given the OK to bring the horse home, comment on his sale page with a statement similar to:
    • I, (username), do agree to the sales terms of RRS-RareRollingShows. That in obtaining (horse's name) I am free to use and sell the character as I wish, with the exception that I will not write or draw about the intentional abuse or neglect of this animal. I understand that soring and the use of chains and/or pads to modify the horse's gait is not permitted.
